Through one-on-one sessions, we will collaboratively enhance your culinary expertise, focusing on healthier ingredients, efficient cooking techniques, time-management tips, and most importantly develop the ability to make home cooking a default habit.

This program is geared towards fostering meaningful behavioral changes in your kitchen environment, allowing you to prioritize your energy and efforts in accordance with your unique goals.

As your dedicated coach, I will provide unwavering support, guiding you in making informed food choices and cultivating culinary confidence with a foundation in fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.

This programme has been designed to help you enjoy discovering the kitchen so much that you’ll want to keep exploring even after the program ends.

Additionally, you may opt to partake in targeted cooking classes to further enhance your culinary skills, in specific areas, scheduled separately to suit your preferences.

Culinary Medicine approach

Culinary medicine blends the scientific understanding of nutrition and medicine with the art of cooking for health. This interdisciplinary approach aims to promote overall health and well-being by recognizing the pivotal role of nutrition in preventing and managing various health conditions, such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and diverse skin disorders.

Adopting a holistic perspective, culinary medicine emphasizes the significance of incorporating whole, minimally processed foods and employing appropriate culinary techniques to optimize health. This comprehensive approach transcends mere nutritional knowledge and incorporates hands-on learning experiences in food planning, preparation, and cooking.

What to expect during the sessions?

In our initial session, we will focus on your eating habits, lifestyle, and aspirations. Together, we create a tailored plan, considering your preferences and needs.

In the following sessions, I provide space for support and challenge for you to: think, explore and unravel your challenges when it comes to home cooking; create accountability to work on a plan to achieve your goals; explore what’s working, what’s not, and what you are learning during the process; gain your own insights about your culinary habits

As needed, I will bring guidance for the adoption of healthier ingredients, improved cooking techniques, and time-management skills.

The coaching method encompasses motivational interviewing, behavior change support, appreciative inquiry, health coaching, brief interventions, goal setting, and telemedicine practices.
